Rose Fells
Practice Manager
The Scott Practice
I have been the practice manager at The Scott Practice since January 2000, and a Partner in the practice since 2004.
Academically I have a degree in business studies and qualifications in book-keeping and teaching.
During my time working in primary care I have worked for the Deanery undertaking practice visits for potential training practices and re-approval visits (until the Deanery decided they didn’t need PM input) and also as a Specialist Advisor for the CQC undertaking practice inspection visits (until CQC decided they no longer needed PM input into the visits (there is a theme here!!)). I am very passionate about the PM voice being heard and now represent non-GP Partners on the LMC committee.
In my spare time I compete in triathlons and am a level 1 triathlon coach and strength and conditioning coach.
Allison Edgeler
Practice Manager
The Oakwood Surgery
My name is Allison Edgeler and I am the Practice Business Manager at The Oakwood Surgery. I joined Team Oakwood 2 years ago, after nearly 28 years in the financial services industry – 22 of which were in management. What I lack in NHS experience and knowledge, I make up for in leadership, coaching and organisational skills. As a leader, I offer a positive, confident and open minded approach to my job and like nothing more than getting my teeth stuck into something new and developing my team I am mum, daughter and wife with a hectic social life. I volunteer for our village scout group and am vice chair of governors at our local primary school. I love holidays, walks, my cross-trainer and entertaining. I have a cheeky sense of humour and am not afraid of speaking my mind but also have a huge heart and always make time to support my family and friends when they need me.
